RIBAUDO Giovanni

Giovanni Ribaudo received his degree in Chimica e Tecnologia Farmaceutiche (Medicinal Chemistry and Technology, 110/110 cum laude) at the University of Padova in 2011. His final thesis work in the field of synthetic chemistry was awarded with “Premio Lorenzini 2011”. In 2015, he graduated PhD (Molecular Sciences – Pharmaceutical Sciences, final thesis work: “Synthesis, characterization and biophysical evaluation of novel G-quadruplex stabilizing agents”) at the University of Padova after carrying out part of the research activity at the State University of New York, Albany (NY, USA). Between 2015 and 2019 he worked as a post-doc at the University of Padova. His research interests comprehend synthetic, analytical (HPLC, NMR, mass spectrometry) and computational medicinal chemistry, and have always been paired with teaching activity. In 2019 he joined the Univesity of Brescia (RTDA CHIM/08, Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine). Giovanni Ribaudo coauthored more than 70 papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, two patents and two book chapters. He also works as Guest Editor for two Special Issues in peer-reviewed journals. Research and dissemination are paired by teaching activity at the University of Brescia, with the involvement in the lessons of Analisi dei medicinali and Chimica farmaceutica (Biotechnology, Pharmacy).
