Fabio Luterotti was born in Brescia (Italy) on April 1961. He graduated in Mathematics with full marks in July 1984. He is currently associate professor of Mathematical Analysis. His academical career started in 1990 with a researcher position; then he became associate professor in 2000. The teaching experience includes courses in Calculus and Advanced Calculus mainly for students of Engineering. As for the research activity, he is author or coauthor of more than 30 papers. The main research subjects regard evolution variational inequalities and nonlinear evolution systems arising from differential models in Thermodynamics. He has been basically interested in proving existence and uniqueness theorems. He also addressed other issues such as regularity, asymptotic behaviour of the solution with respect to special parameters, stability and convergence as well as error estimates for time discretization or for other approximations. Many results have been obtained jointly with different scientists. He attended and contributed to a number of congresses and workshops. He serves as referee for many journals as, e.g., "Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences", "Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications" and "Advances in Mathematical Sciences and Applications".
