MAIN RESEARCH FIELDS
The research of Dr. Marina Venturini over the past 10 years has focused mainly in the field of photodermatology, photodiagnosis, phototerapy and non-invasive diagnostic techniques, especially in in vivo reflectance confocal microscopy, working in Phototherapy and Photobiology Unit in Spedali Civili Hospital of Brescia, Italy.
Since 2007 she is also interested in heritable connective tissue disorders, focusing her clinical and research activity on Ehlers-Danlos syndrome Hypermobility type/Joint Hypermobility syndrome, in collaboration with Prof. Marina Colombi, Division of Biology and Genetics, Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine, University of Brescia, Italy.
