Curriculum Vitae
In 1999 he got the Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Brescia.
In 2003 he got the PhD in Sanitary Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan.
He has been Assistant Professor of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering at the University of Brescia Since 1st March 2005.
- TEACHING ACTIVITY -
He teaches the course "Constructive techniques for water and waste tratment plants" at the University of Brescia.
He has hold seminaries and exercitations in 14 different courses in 3 different Universities (Brescia, Pavia, Mantova.
He has been lector in several post-lauream courses.
He has been co-tutor of 30 degree theses in Engineering field.
- SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY -
Since 2000 he has been carrying out research activity, in particular in these fields: contaminated sites remediation, liquid waste treatment, sanitary and environmental risk analysis, environmental certification, appropriate technologies for environment management in low income Countries.
He is author/coauthor of more than 60 scientific papers, published in italian and international journals, books and conference proceedings

He has partecipated as lecturer in 23 national e 20 internazionational Conferences

1st European award for best practice for the integration of SHD (Sustainable Human Development) into technology and engineering education,
conferred by Global Dimension in Engineering Education (GDEE) is a EuropeAid Project, entitled “Cross-cutting development
education into technology studies which aims to stimulate the introduction of education for development in European
Universities. This project will impact positively on the attitudinal values and skills of students in relation to
sustainable human development (SHD). This is being dealt with by integrating SHD as a cross-cutting issue in
teaching activities through a two-fold strategy. Its first objective is to improve the competences of academics to
enable them to introduce SHD into the curricula and facilitating the engagement of both staff and students in
academic initiatives related to SHD. - 2013
