The research group, in collaboration with Prof. Bergese, deals with the separation and characterization of extracellular vesicles for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The vesicles are separated by different biological fluids such as plasma, serum and cell culture media and characterized by biochemical and biophysical methods. The laboratory belongs to the Italian society for extracellular vesicles (www.evita.org) and to the International society for extracellular vesicles (www.isev.org).
