He was born in June 14 1968, in Brescia. In 1992 he graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Brescia. In 1995 he received the Research Doctorate in Electronic Instrumentation at the University of Brescia. In 1995, he joined the Department of electronics for Industrial Automation, University of Brescia, where he was an Assistant Professor. In 2003, he became an Associate Professor of electrical and electronics measurements. He teaches courses in electronics instrumentation. His research activity deals with the design and characterization of sensors for physical and chemical quantities, and the related signal conditioning electronics. Present topics of interest include magnetoresistive contacless transducer developed in thin and thick-film technology and Hall effect sensors for angle and tilt measurements. He is co-author of more than 80 papers published on international and national journals and conference proceedings.
