Engineer, Ph.D., Research fellows of Town and regional planning in the University of Brescia, where she teaches Ethics for environmental sustainability and Analysis of urban and regional systems.
President of the Provincial Centre for Urban Studies of Brescia and member of the board of Regional Centre for Urban Studies of Lombardy.
Her main research fields are: regional and urban planning, sustainability of urban settlement, urban standards, environmental assessment, accessibility in urban environment.
She was junior researcher in the COST Action Land Management for Urban Dynamics-TU0602 and she took part in the European project ROSEE-ROad safety in South East European regions.
She contributes/contributed to several project in the team of Town and regional planning of the University of Brescia:
CeNSU - INU - SIU Commission "Towards a law of principles for the government of the territory, for a reform of urban planning" in the Territorial Endowments group (Standard); "Modeling integration to support governance and regional sustainable development strategy" (INTEGRA); "Pianura sostenibile: territorial laboratory for circular economy"; "The definition of the provincial extraction needs and the new plan of the quarries for the merchandise sectors of sand and gravel and of clay"; "The demand and the offer of social-assistance and health services for the well-being of the citizens and families of Brescia"; "Feasibility study for the Strategic Plan of Franciacorta".
Member of the Editorial Board of CSE Journal - City Safety Energy (edited by Le Penseur) and member of the Editorial Board of series “Quaderni del Centro Nazionale di Studi urbanistici” (Maggioli publisher).
She is author of more than 70 publications.
