My research interests range from neuroscience to metabolism, focusing mainly on mitochondrial dysfunction in ageing and human pathology. The aim is to improve the diagnoses and identify pharmacological and nutraceutical strategies to prevent or treat non-communicable diseases by supporting mitochondrial bioenergetics.
