The group conducts translational research and participates in clinical trials to prevent and treat non-communicable and ageing-related diseases, including metabolic, psychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases. Current research programmes focus on pharmacological, nutraceutical and lifestyle strategies to maintain health at any age by preserving mitochondrial bioenergetics.
