SARDINI Emilio

Emilio Sardini was born in Commessaggio, Italy in 1958. He graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Politecnico of Milan,in 1983. Since 1984 he joined the department of Electronic of Industrial Automation of the University of Brescia,Italy.From 1986 to 1998 he has been Assistant Professor and from 1998 to 2006 Associate Professor in Electrical and Electronics Measurements.Since 2006 he obtained the position of Full Professor. He was a member of the Academic Senate and Board of Directors of the University of Brescia. By several years he is a coordinator of teaching activities in the Faculty of membership or in the University of Bergamo.
Also he is or has been:
-Member of national committees of comparative assessment
-Co-Chairman of the Conference "the 4th International Conference on Barkhausen Noise and Micromagnetic Testing"
-Supervisor of collaboration agreements and/or research contracts with Joint Research Centre (JRC)
-Coordinator of the "Technology for health" PhD
-Member of the faculty of "Mechatronics" PhD at the Università degli Studi di Bergamo
-Reviewer of some international journals and public research projects
-Supervisor of industrial research contracts aimed to technology transfer
His research interest are addressed to the field of sensor, instrumentation and electronic conditioning circuits. Some of the main themes are: ultrasonic sensors, capacitance transducers and related high-resolution instrumentation measurement, electronic instrumentation for the Barkhausen noise measurement; instrumentation for the measurement of noise due to piezoresistive films deposited on metal substrates; contacless trasmission of measurement information between sensor and electronic; autonomous sensors (wire-less and battery-free) for temperature measurement, wind velocity and for Force Measurements in Human Knee Implants.
He published more than 120 document on international or national journals or presented to national or international conferences
