Full Professor in Mathematics for Economic and Financial Applications at the University of Brescia (Italy) since May 2020. Associate Professor in Mathematics for Economic and Financial Applications at the University of Brescia (Italy) since from December 2017 to April 2020. Assistant Professor at the University of Brescia from April, 2009 to December, 2017. Bachelor degree in Economics and Business Administration at the University of Bergamo (Italy) in 2004. Joint Ph.D. in “Computational Methods for Economic and Financial Forecasting and Decisions” (University of Bergamo, Italy) and in "Sciences de l’Ingénieur" (Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium) in 2008. Visiting professor at the University of California, Riverside (USA), at CORE, Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (Toledo, Spain). She collaborates with foreign researchers producing several papers published on international journals (Energy Economics, Energy Policy, The Energy Journal, Journal of cleaner production, Networks and Spatial Economics, EJOR, JOGO, ANOR, JOTA, CEJOR). She has participated and presented the results of her research in numerous national and international conferences.

Her research interests concern the development of mathematical models for the analysis of:
• The economic impacts of different environmental policies (EU-ETS, 20-20-20 targets, European Energy Roadmap 2050) on energy systems, industrial sector, and supply chains.
• Closed-loop supply chain network and circular economy.
• Socially Responsible Funds.
