PASSAMANI Ivana

Architect, PhD in "Drawing and Survey of Architectural Heritage" (2001) with honors at the University of Ancona.
From 2000 to 2017 she is a researcher of Drawing at the University of Brescia, where she taught “Representation Techniques” and “Architectural Survey”.

From 2017 she became an Associate Professor; she is actually teaching “Drawing 2” in the bachelor programme in Building Engineering and Architecture.
From 2015 she is a Regional Expert in the "Regional Commission of Lombardy for the Landscape Heritage of the Hill and the Great Lakes", in 2016 she was appointed “Rector's Delegate to Buildings and Properties – Campus sostenibile”, while from 2017 she was member of the Sustainable University Network Commission (RUS) of the University of Brescia.

Main scientific research topics:
- survey and representation of the landscape, from the urban to the agrarian one, to the landscapes of industrial archeology up to the intangible ones. In 2010 she was the Scientific Director and Coordinator of the conference "Il senso del luogo".
- problems of visual accessibility to knowledge: she investigates on graphic, tactile and material methods and tools for communicating the characteristics of landscape and architecture to the blind and visually impaired. In 2016 she was the Scientific Creator and Coordinator of the event "Le Mani Sull'architettura. Vedere con gli occhi, vedere con le dita", at the University of Brescia.
- over the years there has been a constant interest in historical monumental buildings and in the expressions of Baroque culture, in particular found in the perceptive and scenographic aspects from the urban dimension up to the ephemeral exhibition.
The intense research activity is reflected in the numerous publications, in the various participations as a speaker at national and international conventions, in the participation in scientific committees, in the organization of exhibitions and in the many lectures given.
