Since 2009 is a RESEARCHER for the Industrial and Mechanical Department of the University of Brescia, in the mechanical and thermal measurement field (ING-IND 12) with the aim to develop innovative measurement system for the biomechanics field. The main focus of research is on systems for the study of wearable robotics and robotic rehabilitation.
Other research fields are vibration-based analysis methods for the industrial diagnostics, also involving machine learning techniques, and the development and validation of optical and contact-less measurement systems.
Currently, he is the head of the Mechanical and Thermal Measurement Lab of his department, with research and collaboration contracts with relevant local industries, concerning the development and validation of test benches.
He has obtained a PhD in Applied Mechanics in 2015, with a thesis on Measurement Systems for Robotic Rehabilitation. He has also received the national habilitation for research (ASN II fascia) in March 2018.
