Research and professional experience
2022-present: Associate Professor (permanent) SSD MED/46 Biotechnology and Methods in Laboratory Medicine. She heads the Extracellular vesicles laboratory, together with Paolo Bergese, focusing on the biochemical and biophysical characterization of EV surface interactions with proteins and nanoparticles, towards the development of new diagnostics and new therapeutics.
2009-2022: Assistant Professor (permanent), Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine- University of Brescia. She is member of an interdisciplinary group, headed by Prof. Paolo Bergese, where she supervises the biochemistry and molecular biology unit at the interface with nanotechnologies and biophysics. She is interested in subcellular and extracellular trafficking of proteins and the study of extracellular vesicles in diagnostics and research.
