She heads the Extracellular vesicles laboratory, together with Paolo Bergese, focusing on the biochemical and biophysical characterization of EV surface interactions with proteins and nanoparticles, towards the development of new diagnostics and new therapeutics. 2009-2022: Assistant Professor (permanent), Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine- University of Brescia. She is member of an interdisciplinary group, headed by Prof. Paolo Bergese, where she supervises the biochemistry and molecular biology unit at the interface with nanotechnologies and biophysics. She is interested in subcellular and extracellular trafficking of proteins and the study of extracellular vesicles in diagnostics and research. 2005-2009: Assistant Professor (fixed term) Department of Biomedical Sciences and Biotechnologies, University of Brescia. Research activity in biochemistry and cell trafficking field (adaptor proteins). 2004-2005: Post-doctoral fellowship at Department of Biomedical Sciences and Biotechnologies, University of Brescia. Research topic: study of the internalization of membrane integrins. 2001- 2003: University of Bologna, Department of Industrial Chemistry: Doctoral fellow in Applied Biocatalysis and Industrial Microbiology. Research topic: Structural and functional studies on procaryotic DNA polymerases. 2002-2003: Marco Polo Fellowship award (University of Bologna) for PhD Host student at The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, CA (USA). Research topic: DNA polymerases evolution through phage display technology. 1999-2000: research intnership at the Department of Industrial Chemistry, University of Bologna. Research topic: Directed evolution of enzymes by means of E.coli mutator strains. 1999: Summer student at EMBL, European Molecular Biology Laboratory, Heidelberg (Germany). Research topic: Developmental biology of Xenopus laevis. Curriculum Vitae

Annalisa Radeghieri is Associate Professor at the Dept of Molecular and Translational Medicine at the University of Brescia, where she directs the extracellular vesicle laboratory in collaboration with Paolo Bergese, integrating nanotechnology and biophysics, for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Expert in biochemistry, microbiology, cell biology, molecular biology, since 2023 she has led the UNIBS research unit for the project "Extracellular vesicles of muscle tissue: new biomarkers for weakness acquired in sepsis-related intensive care", Ministry of Health and collaborates on the Horizon 2020-FET project "Biogenic organotropic wetsuits" (nr 952183). Since 2021 she has collaborated on the project “Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and hypermobility spectrum disorders”, Ehlers-Danlos Society. From 2019 to 2023 she directed the UNIBS unit for the PRIN project “Biotechnological platform of nanoparticles for anticancer therapies” n . 2017E3A2NR_004. She collaborated on the PON “SiRIMaP” ARS01_01183 project, for the detection and recycling of marine plastic pollution and Horizon 2020-FETOPEN "The extracellular vesicle Foundry", nr. nr. 801367. From 2016 to 2019 she has collaborated on the project BIOMANE on neurodegenerative disorders associated with aging. In 2017 she received the FFABR Grant as PI. She is vice president of the Italian Society for Extracellular Vesicles (EVita), member of the International Society of Extracellular Vesicles and has been a member of the Colloids and Nanosciences Research Center in Florence since 2016. She teaches courses in Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology, Biomedical Laboratory Technician, Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering, and the Specialization School of Clinical Pathology and Biochemistry. She is co-author of 51 articles (47 published, 1 in press, 2 in preparation) and 2 book chapters in international peer-reviewed journals, with 9835 citations and an h-index of 23 on Google Scholar. orcid.org/0000-0003-2737-1090.
