Medical degree (MD), certified for medical profession, PhD in Biochemical and Clinical Chemistry, and PhD in Medical Genetics. Assistant professor in Medical Genetics at the School of Medicine, University of Brescia, since 1997. Reference of the Cytogenetic and Molecular Genetic Service of the University of Brescia. Member of Scientist college of the doctorate of research in “Molecular Genetics Applied to Medical Sciences”, University of Brescia, of the organizing committee of the Graduate School of Medical Genetics at the University of Milan. Member of scientific committee of the “Centre for study and research on the hereditary disease”, University of Brescia, of the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG), of the Italian Society of Human Genetics (SIGU), Member of the European Huntington’s Disease Network (EHDN). Scientific and clinical competence: cell cultures and models, DNA mutations analysis, gene expression, genetics of neurodegenerative disease, genetic counselling for chromosomal and mendelian disease at pre and post natal level. Management, in multidisciplinarity staff, of neurogenetics disease. Teaching: Teaching of Biology, Genetics, Medical Genetics ex Law 341/1990 and subsequent amendments and additions, in the first and second level of Diploma courses, Master Degree and Postgraduate Medical School of Medical Faculty of the University of Brescia, since 1998.
