EDUCATION and QUALIFICATION
Ph.D. in Structural Engineering
Obtained on February, 13rd 2006, From the consortium of University of Brescia, Trento, Udine, Padova, Trieste and Venezia.
Thesis title: “Experimental invstigation and analytical evaluation on the ductility on the ductility of full scale structural walls under cyclic loading”

Degree in Civil Engineering
Obtained on July, 10th 2002, University of Brescia, mark 106/110.

Practice qualification test
Test sustained and passed at the University of Brescia, November 2002. Enrolled at the Ordine of the Engineers of Brescia, n° 3979.

UNIVERSITY POSITION
Since December 2019: associate professor, ICAR/09, Department DICATAM , Università degli Studi di Brescia.

RESEARCH ACTIVITY
The research topic of the candidate concern mainly r.c. and masonry structures, the nonlinear modeling of them and the strengthening and structural retrofit of existing buildings.
The research is devoted to the global structural behavior and local mechanisms. The research combines either theoretical modeling and experimental testing activity.
The research activity main topics are the following:
- Seismic behaviour of rc structural systems.
- Seismic behaviour of historical buildings and strengthening techniques.

TEACHING ACTIVITY
• Responsible for the course of "Seismic resistant structures" at the University of Brescia, Italy
