Curriculum Vitae
Carlo Filippi is Associate Professor of Operational Research at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Brescia.
His research interests cover different aspects of continuous and combinatorial optimization:
1) routing problems, including selective, stochastic, dynamic routing;
2) location problems, including congestion and equity issues;
3) scheduling problems on parallel machines, including high-multiplicity, fixed processing times, times windows;
4) multi-objective and multi-parametric optimization, with applications to logistics, finance, and constrained optimal control.
He has published on Mathematical Programming, Transportations Science, European Journal of Operational Research, Computers & Operations Research, Omega, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications, Computer Optimization and Applications, Operations Research Letters, Journal of Scheduling, Computational Geometry, International Transactions in Operational Research.
From 1992 to 2006 he has been Research Associate of Operational Research at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Padua, where he was lecturer in various courses of Optimization and Operational Research for different student levels. From 2006 he is Associate Professor of Operational Research at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Brescia, where he is lecturer of courses on Supply Chain Management, Decision Support, and Information Technology.
