BOSETTI Luisa

PhD and Associate Professor of Business Administration at the University of Brescia, Department of Economics and Management (DEM), since 1 June 2018. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at DEM (1 September 2011 - 31 May 2018).
Soon after graduating in Economics at the University of Brescia (14 March 2002), she started her academic career as a scholar of Business Administration.
After obtaining her PhD in “Corporate Value Accounting and Disclosure” (Business Administration) at Parma University (10 March 2006), she held the position of post-doc fellow (June 2006 – June 2008) and researcher with grant (July 2008 – August 2011) in Business Administration at the University of Brescia, Faculty of Economics.
As Associate Professor, she teaches “Cost accounting” (A-G division), “Corporate social responsibility and non-financial communication” and “Risk management and control system” in DEM bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. She also cooperates to other courses, such as “Corporate governance and control systems”. Moreover, she taught “Business administration” in bachelor’s degree programmes of Medicine Departments.
Since March 2018, she is the representative of the Master’s Degree Programme in Business Consultancy and Training for Professionals, DEM, University of Brescia.
She has taken part to research programs funded with support from the European Commission and the Italian Ministry for Education and Scientific Research, as well as to other national research projects and university-promoted investigations.
She cooperates with international journals acting as a member of the Editorial Board or a reviewer.
Member of AIDEA, SIDREA and EBEN Italy. Member of ASvis Goal 12 workgroup on “Sustainable consumption and production”.
Reviewer of research programs financed by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).
Her major research fields concern corporate governance, control systems, CSR, and corporate disclosure.
