Associate Professor from 2021 and Researcher from 2004 to 2021 in the Division of Anatomy and Physiopathology of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Sciences.
The main goals were about:
- anatomical and morphological characterization of central and peripheral nervous system involved in nociceptive transmission and analgesia;
- use of melatonin, drugs active on cannabinergic, purinergic, Bv8/prokineticin systems and stem cells in pain treatment
- strategies in regenerative medicine, also using platelet concentrates
Scientific production: 113 publications, 43 peer-reviewed articles indexed in the main databases (PubMed, WOS, Scopus) and 5 book chapters.
