Aldo Attanasio is full professor in Manufacturing and Production Systems at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering of the University of Brescia. Research activities The scientific activity of Aldo Attanasio covered several aspects dealing with technologies and manufacturing systems such as traditional (stamping, forging and machining) and innovative (hydroforming and incremental forming) manufacturing processes; ultraprecision processes with particular attention to milling for the production of microcomponents or dies and moulds; cumulative tool wear both at macro and micro scale in cooperation with the Arts et Métiers research team of Cluny (France). Aldo Attanasio is involved in different research projects and cooperates with several universities, research centres and industries in Italy and in other countries.
The teaching activities are focuses on manufacturing processes and machine tools applications.
