BARONIO Fabio

Born in Brescia, Italy, 3/02/1976. Scientific Diploma (60/60) from Liceo Scientifico Statale A. Calini, Brescia (1990-1995). Laurea degree (BS, MS) in Electronic Engineering (110/110 summa cum laude) from the University of Brescia (1995-2000). PhD degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Padua, Italy (2002-2004). From 2005 he is a Permanent Researcher in Electromagnetic Fields (09/F1) at the University of Brescia.
The scientific research activity of Fabio Baronio deals with Electromagnetism, Photonics, Telecommunications. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 papers on the main scientific journals, conference and book chapters. He coordinated Projects funded by the Italian Ministry for Scientific Research and worked in the framework of projects granted by the European Community. He is member and referee of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), of the Optical Society of America (OSA) and of the Italian Society of Electromagnetism (SIEM). He is an Editorial Board Member of the Open Optics Journal, Bentham Science Publishers Ltd.
From 2007 to 2012 he was Delegate in the Board of Directors of the University of Brescia. From 2012 he is Member of the Academic Senate of the University of Brescia.
