The role of investment and innovation in a program of economic recovery in the EU and in Italy

The Discussion Group “Growth, Investment and Territory” in the last three years has published two eBooks (2014 and 2015). It was, since the beginning of its activities in 2014, among the first in Europe to indicate, that the decrease in the GDP growth was mainly determined by the crisis in investments and that the objective of economic policy should be the recovery of private and public investments and of the domestic demand and not the increase of exports and of international competitiveness, as it was advocated by many neoliberal economists in the European institutions and the national governments
