Contenuti

The Laboratory intends to promote the discussion and in-depth analysis of the concept of sustainability (in its three dimensions: environmental, social and economic) and its application in the context of reporting and assessment. In particular, a key tenet of the Laboratory is that sustainability should not be an objective, but rather a path to be pursued within a broader development vision. In this sense, it is deemed relevant not only to address the fundamental notions, regulations and assessment schemes concerning sustainability, but also to critically explore case studies, related issues and misleading practices.
In fact, as the inherent nature of a laboratory requires, the overall approach aims at favouring the active participation of students, proposing activities and discussions, as well as providing tools related to sustainability accounting and assessment.

Under this premise, the Laboratory builds upon some main areas:
- Conceptualisation of sustainability
- Sustainability certifications
- Sustainability reporting
- Specific focus: carbon reporting, life cycle assessments, sustainability communication
