DentEqual AI: AI-Supported Standardised Assessment Tool for Pre-Clinical Dentistry Education

The general objective of our project is to develop an AI-supported mobile application (E- Qual-DENT AI) that enables objective, transparent, and standardised evaluation of pre- clinical dentistry students’ practical works across European higher education institutions. Specific Objectives ● To identify and standardize quality standards and evaluation criteria for pre- clinical dentistry education among partner universities ● To develop a validated AI algorithm capable of analysing photos of pre-clinical dental works ● To design and pilot a user-friendly mobile application for AI-supported assessment ● To strengthen academic staff’s digital and pedagogical competences through targeted training modules ● To enhance fairness, transparency, and formative feedback in student assessment ● To promote European cooperation, equality and comparability in dentistry education
