Marco Gadola is Associate Professor within the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering (DIMI) of the University of Brescia, Italy. He is involved in various research fields concerning Automotive Engineering:
•Vehicle Dynamics
•Vehicle subsystem design and testing
•Tyres, suspension, full vehicle modelling and simulation
•Software tools for vehicle design
•Development of electric and hybrid vehicles

•Motorsport and race engineering
He coordinates a two-year advanced course in Automotive Engineering and teaches a course on the subjects of Vehicle Dynamics and Simulation.

1991: Laurea degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Brescia. Thesis title: “Modellizzazione di sospensioni per vetture da competizione”.
1991-92: Master School Course in Automotive Product Engineering, Cranfield Institute of Technology, UK, thanks to a grant of the University of Brescia. Thesis title: “A comparison of different technologies for sportscar chassis: structural analysis”.
1992-95: PhD in Mechanical Engineering, University of Brescia. Main subjects: vehicle dynamics and chassis design. Thesis title: “Dinamica del veicolo: ricerche propedeutiche al progetto di un sistema di sospensioni attive”.
From 1995 to date: engineering consultancy in Motorsport. Race engineering, data analysis, R&D, modelling and simulation for Endurance and GT racing, Le Mans prototypes, F3 and GP2 single seaters.
