Born in Novara on 1962.06.14
Full professor at the Dental School of the Brescia University, teaching dental materials and orthodontics
Councillor of the Italian Society for Dentistry and Maxillo Facial Surgery.
He is chief of an integrated lab for biological and chemico – physical tests (corrosion, mechanical features) in order to approve medical / dental devices according to 93/42 EU directive, for this reason he received grants by the main manufacturers of the area. He helped in covering by means of 2 patents of the university of Brescia the use of a mix of glycosaminoglycans able to stimulate growth and maturation of osteoblasts.
Scientific expertise: experiments on animals on topics related to the project, clinical cases of bone marrow transplantation and related problems, lab analysis both histologic and clinical, techniques and devices in orthodontics, sterilization control and training, local collaboration with engineers, national collaboration with other project participant, European projects collaboration, convenor of regional projects on Evidence Based Approach, participation in previous similar project on mercury low doses, national convenor in previous similar project on material biocompatibility.
