Specialist in Radiation Oncology on November 10th 2003 at Brescia University
June 2003-September 2003 she frequented the neuro-oncology department of Royal Marsden Hospital (London)
From January 2005 to date: clinical researcher in Radiotherpy at the Brescia University and radiation oncologist , Istituto del Radio.
Since December 2014 she is the chair of the "CAE" in the Institute directed by Prof SM MAgrini. Since 2011 is in charge of the Neuro-oncology unit of the same Institute.
She participated to two Program “PRIN - Research Programs of Relevant National Interest” co-funded by the Italian Ministry for University and Research in 2007 and 2011
She was involved in Italian multicenter retrospective analyses about genito-urinary (she is Principal Investigator of the multicentric study "ProEPI" on the use of pelvic irradiation in intermediate high risk prostate cancer) and head and neck cancer.
She has been involved as principal investigator in multicentric international and national prospective randomized trials on Central Nervous System (CNS) tumors.
She is involved in teaching activities to medical students and trainees in Radiotherapy Oncology, Radiology and in other official courses of the Brescia School of Medicine (Biotechnologists, radiographers, obstetrics etc).
She gave more than 50 lectures in national and international congresses and meetings.
She is author of 65 papers on peer reviewed nationals and internationals journals and of more than 100 abs.
She is member of the following Scientific Societies:
- Italian Society of Radiation Oncology;
- Italian Society of Radiobiology;
- European Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
2011-2013 she is the chair of the Italian Association of Radiation Oncology Neuro-oncology Group.
From 2012 she is involved in "Federazione Italiana Linfomi" as member of "Radiotherapy"commission.

She turns its attention to the identification of biological determinants of tumor response and to the identification of the best therapeutic integration in patients with tumors of the CNS district.
She participates in international clinical studies and design prospective clinical studies, of which she is the promoter.
Since September 2022 she is focusing her attention on the study and clinical implementation of MRI-guided radiotherapy.
