Matteo Ferroni was born in 1970 and received degree in Physics in 1994 and the Ph.D thesis on innovative materials as chemical sensors at Ferrara University in 1998. In 2004, Matteo Ferroni was appointed researcher (FIS/01) at the Department of Chemistry and Physics for Engineering and for Materials of the University of Brescia. During his scientific career, Matteo Ferroni published about 80 papers. THe H-index is 23. Presently, his mean research activity concerns the characterization of quasi-1-dimensional nanostructures oxides by means of electron microscopy and associated techniques. Matteo Ferroni is in charge of the high-resolution scanning electron microscopy facility at the SENSOR INFM-CNR laboratory in Brescia.
