He focussed his scientific attention on neurobiology, neuropsychology, neurorehabilitation, and neurodegenerative diseases and in cerebrovascular disorders. He is member of the Scientific Committee of Italian Society of neurology, SIN-DEM, ITINAD, ARIN and AIP;: he is member of the European Academy of Neurology
