CASTELLANI Marco

Marco Castellani is Full Professor of Sociology of Economic and Labour Processes (GSPS-08/A) at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Brescia. He received his PhD in Economic Sociology in 2003. His research interests include decision-making and bounded rationality, organizational cognition, fuzzy cognitive maps, social simulation and agent-based modelling, social networks, industrial relations, and transformations of work. He is coordinator for the Interdepartmental Master’s Degree Programme in Public Administration Governance and Vice-President of the University Research Centre CERIL “Mario Napoli”. He is a member of the Doctoral Board of the PhD Programme in Economic Sociology, Organizations and Labour Studies (ESOL) – NASP West. He teaches Decision-Making Processes in Public Administrations, Leadership and Complex Organizations, and Economic Sociology of Cultural Processes. He has participated in national and international research projects, including PRIN and FIRB projects and projects funded by the European Commission and Fondazione Cariplo. He is the author of two monographs and numerous journal articles and book chapters on decision-making, organizations, social networks, digital finance, and industrial relations.
