Brescia città misurata. Fonti inedite per la quantificazione delle criticità architettoniche, urbanistiche e igieniche negli anni Ottanta del XIX secolo

Brescia restoration plan took effect in 1887. The intervention aimed at modernizing the city centre, especially improving water and sewage systems. As happened for other cities, local technicians paid great attention to problems such as hygiene levels, and their possible improvement through urban planning and architectural choices. This paper presents and analyzes a series of unpublished documents produced in 1885 to best describe the condition of architecture in Brescia.
